Vanessa is passionate about connecting individual and corporate donors to a personal and organizational mission to help them achieve their philanthropic goals and fulfill important community needs.

Jim Hudson has been the Executive Director of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati for the past five years. Jim has been a nonprofit leader with close to 30 years of experience in various roles around the country.

Tracy is responsible for advancing 4C’s work to ensure that local children have access to quality care and education to give them the very best start in life. She has spent 16 years working in nonprofit fundraising serving in executive leadership roles with The Salvation Army and the Arthritis Foundation.

Rebecca Vachon is a graduate of Miami University who began her fundraising career at the Unitarian Universalist Association in Boston, MA. Rebecca recently moved back to her hometown of Cincinnati, OH to join the team at the Cincinnati Museum Center as the Director of Annual Giving.
Rachel Kirley, CFRE

With close to a decade of experience in the field, Rachel currently serves as the Capital Campaign Director for the Cincinnati Playhouse in the park. Previously, at Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra she oversaw individual giving at various levels as well as benefit fulfillment, volunteer management and donor acknowledgment.

Phillip serves as the Associate Director of Annual Giving at the University of Cincinnati Foundation overseeing the Faculty & Staff Campaign, Telefund program and other special projects. Phillip has over 15 years of experience in fundraising and alumni engagement.

Career history in Recruitment, Staffing and Executive Search. Currently working as a Research Analyst with the University of Cincinnati on a social services project for the State of Ohio, Department of Jobs and Family Services.
Lori Rassati

Lori is vice president of Skystone Partners. Lori has more than 25 years of development experience primarily in higher education and healthcare organizations and as a fundraising consultant has assisted numerous nonprofit organizations through the management of feasibility studies, development audits, and capital campaigns.
Tracy Wells
Tracy WellsDirector of National Philanthropy Day
Tracy Wells has served as the Director of Development for Talbert House for 8 years where she sets the strategic direction for all fundraising efforts. Previously she was the Chief Development Officer at Redwood in Fort Mitchell for 8 years, leading a $6.2M capital campaign. Tracy is a member of Leadership Northern Kentucky Class of 2005, Leadership Cincinnati Class 36, and the 2013 class of Forty Under 40.
Megan Elicker

Megan Elicker currently is a freelance grant writer for several local nonprofit organizations. Prior to this, she worked for nonprofits in the human services and health sectors supporting some of most disadvantaged populations. Megan has over eleven years of experience in building relationships with local and regional funders, including public and private sources.
Kara Shibiya, CFRE

As the Program Officer at ArtsWave, Kara manages multiple grantmaking programs, supporting arts organizations both large and small in seeking out impact-based grant funding. She brings with her nearly a decade of fundraising and grantwriting experience, primarily working with nonprofit arts organizations, and most recently, the Cincinnati Public School District.
Judie List Sweeney, CFRE

Judie List Sweeney has worked in development for 30 years, including 22 years at Disabled American Veterans National Headquarters, primarily focusing on planned giving, as well as the organization’s new major gifts program. Her prior development positions were with Xavier University, Clermont Mercy Hospital, and the Athenaeum of Ohio.

Jen is the Manager of Development and Grants at the Taft Museum of Art, and in this capacity is responsible for the Taft’s development strategies and action plans directly linked to foundation relations and special campaigns. Jen serves as the treasurer on the board of the Walnut Hills High School Association.

Matthew is currently the Relationship Manager for Business Services at United Way of Greater Cincinnati. Matthew has lived all over the country working in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, and represented the USA in both the People’s Republic of China (business) and Romania (arts) for a period of time.

Highly skilled in developing and cultivating authentic relationships with donors and prospective benefactors that lead to advancing an institution’s goals and overall mission.

A veteran of the not-for-profit sector since 1986, Dan knows from personal experience the value to the major gift planner of being equipped with both the competence and the confidence to engage a potential donor in a discussion that will result in a significant gift commitment. Dan began his fundraising career in the performing arts.
Tricia Sunders

Tricia has served in the nonprofit community for over five years, with three years experience in ethic, and is working toward her CFRE Certification. Tricia currently serves as the Corporate Relations Director for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati where she works with corporate and business donors to facilitate sponsorship and volunteering efforts.
Michael Huber

In his first two years at the University of Cincinnati, Mike has had the privilege of being a member of the following organizations: First Year Leadership Program (FYLP), Lindner Ambassadors, Discover Cincinnati, Rally Cats, the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity Alpha Xi Chapter, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals University of Cincinnati Collegiate Chapter (AFP-UC). Mike plans on graduating in 2018 with a B.B.A. in Marketing and Business Economics, and hopes to attend law school.
